ALA loves Laird Barron!

Congratulations to Laird Barron. The American Library Association put his collection The Imago Sequence on their annual Best Adult Genre Fiction list.
I knew this was an important collection, and most reviewers seem to have concurred, but its nice to see the third pillar of American fiction (librarians) recognizing the merits of Barron’s work.

The Imago Sequence on the preliminary Stoker Awards ballot

Congratulations to Laird Barron, whose short story collection, The Imago Sequence, has made the preliminary Bram Stoker Awards ballot. The Stokers, which are presented annually by the members of the Horror Writers Association, honor superior achievement in horror literature. HWA members will vote to decide which preliminary nominees make the final ballot.

Fantasy on Grey: “an imaginative debut”
