SF Crowsnest: Wastelands is "impressive"

SF Crowsnest just published a nice review by Tomas L. Martin of Wastelands: "In this, his first anthology, [Adams] collects together an impressive array of post-apocalyptic short stories. […] Stands out as one of the best short story collections I’ve read in a while."

Locus reviews The Sword-Edged Blonde

The February 2008 issue of Locus Magazine has a nice review by Faren Miller of The Sword-Edged Blonde, in which Miller says that the book is a good example of "genre hybrids that are more than just an authorial stunts like juggling apples and oranges."

The Denver Post and Locus Love Pump Six

In a glowing review in The Denver Post, science fiction reviewer Fred Cleaver describes Paolo Bacigalupi as having made "a big splash with a small number of well-written and emotional stories," and says that his debut collection Pump Six "succeeded brilliantly."
