Reviews of Eclipse One, Glen Cook

The Fix has a new review of Eclipse One. Reviewer Ziv Wities calls it a "high quality anthology" and says: "Strahan’s introduction is enthusiastic and even inspiring; he tells us of how the SF/F short story is flourishing and describes the huge quantity of wonderful, imaginative work coming from writers new and old. Eclipse One certainly manages to showcase some of that talent, and even if not every story is a hit, many and most are quite good, sometimes in surprising ways. There’s quite a variety of themes, settings, and characters, and I think the volume offers a welcome peek of neat directions modern SF/F writing might be able to explore and expand into."
In other news, Google Alerts unearthed an older review of The Dragon Never Sleeps by Glen Cook, on the website The Templeton Gate. The reviewer calls it "a great, great book," and says that it’s on his personal top ten list.
