We’ve just added the final four titles scheduled for 2008 to our Website, and they are now available for pre-order…

In September, Wastelands editor John Joseph Adams presents The Living Dead, the long-awaited definitive zombie anthology featuring the likes of Stephen King, Harlan Ellison, Robert Silverberg, George R. R. Martin, Clive Barker, Poppy Z. Brite, Neil Gaiman, Joe Hill, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Joe R. Lansdale, among many others. The Living Dead covers the broad spectrum of zombie fiction, ranging from Romero-style zombies to reanimated corpses to voodoo zombies and beyond. “When there’s no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth…”

November brings Stephen Baxter’s The H-Bomb Girl, a novel of divergent paths, paradoxes, and future selves, all fighting to become real, set in a 1962 that careens along like a Merseybeat fever dream of Beehives, bombs, and Beatle cuts, where the one person who can save the world from certain destruction may just be… The H-Bomb Girl.

Also coming in November is Graham Joyce’s How to Make Friends with Demons, an ambitious and captivating novel of emotional endurance and psychological horror, marked with Graham Joyce’s trademark lucid, flowing prose, powerful atmosphere, and impressive storytelling.

In December, Steven Erikson’s The Lees of Laughter’s End continues the story of Bauchelain, Korbal Broach, and their unlucky servant Emancipor Reese originally begun in the novellas Blood Follows and The Healthy Dead. The Lees of Laughter’s End continues to expand the epic world of Stephen Erikson’s Malazan Book of the Fallen. Steven Erickson (Gardens of the Moon, Dead House Gates) delivers a rousing, gritty, black-humor-filled adventure that is reminiscent of Fritz Leiber’s best Lankhmar fiction.

Cover art for each of these titles, as well as the rest of our fall lineup, is coming soon. All dates subject to change.
