Props to UK Podcasters StarShipSofa, for including not one, not two, but three stories available from Night Shade Books in their recent feeds. Within the last few weeks, StarShipSofa episodes have included Elizabeth Bear’s stunning And the Deep Blue Sea (which appears in both The Chains that You Refuse and Wastelands), Joe Haldeman’s chilling Graves (available in War Stories), and Ted Chiang’s fantastic The Merchant and the Alchemist’s Gate (included in The Best Science Fiction and Fantasy of the Year, Volume Two). We’re listening… and we like what we hear.
