SFF World reviews The Shadow Pavilion by Liz Williams: “Williams is doing a lot of things right … mostly the slow construction of an intricately layered secondary world. As with previous entries in the series, this aspect showcases Williams’s breadth of imagination filtered through her unique worldview and life experiences.”
Curled Up With a Good Book reviews The Princes of the Golden Cage by Nathalie Mallet: “With the promise of skillful storytelling ability that author Mallet reveals in this work, there’s much hope that the sequel, The King’s Daughters, which will continue to follow the adventures of Amir, will bring her talent to full fruition.”
Matthew Hughes–author of Majestrum, The Spiral Labyrinth, and the forthcoming Hespira–is interviewed on the Nebula Awards website.
