Graham Joyce Named Finalist for O. Henry Award

"An Ordinary Soldier of the Queen" by Graham Joyce, which was originally published in The Paris Review, will appear in The O. Henry Prize Stories 2009, and is thus a finalist for the O. Henry Award, one of the most prestigious literary awards in the United States. This story was later expanded into a novel, How to Make Friends With Demons, which will be published by Night Shade Books in November.
