Eclipse Two, or Our Loss is Your Gain.

We’ve just posted final contents for Eclipse Two, the follow-up to master anthologist Jonathan Strahan’s critically acclaimed collection of new science fiction and fantasy, Eclipse One. Eclipse Two features extraordinary tales by many of fantastic fiction’s brightest lights, including Nancy Kress, Peter S. Beagle, Stephen Baxter, Ken Scholes, Alastair Reynolds, and Terry Dowling. Unfortunately, the Harry Turtledove story we had initially planned to include met with a handful of I.P. rights issues, concerning a handful of quotations from a well-known play, that we were unable to resolve in time. But our loss is your gain, as award-winning authors Ted Chiang and Margo Lanagan have both stepped up to the plate at the last minute, contributing outstanding stories to replace Harry’s. Eclipse Two: Where anything could happen, and any kind of story just might be true…
