Thanks, an update on shipping, and a sneak preview…

I’d like to take a moment and say thanks to everybody out there who helped make our recent sale a success. From the customers who ordered books to the bloggers who helped spread the word, we couldn’t have done it without you. You make it possible for us to keep bringing you the best in Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, and we really appreciate it.

That said, between all the sale orders, all the standing pre-orders, and all the new books that have shown up in our warehouse recently (seriously, we’ve managed to put out twenty books in the last two months), we’ve got a massive backlog to sort through. We’re processing and shipping your orders as quickly as humanly possible, so please be patient, we’ll get your orders to you as soon as we can.

So once again, thanks for your orders and you patience. And now, how about a sneak preview? Here’s a peek at Raphael Lacoste‘s cover art for Paolo Bacigalupi’s debut novel, The Windup Girl. Coming in September, The Windup Girl returns to the world of Bacigalupi’s “The Calorie Man” (Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award-winner, Hugo Award nominee, 2006) and “Yellow Card Man” (Hugo Award nominee, 2007), both included in his Night Shade collection, Pump Six and Other Stories.
