ALA loves Laird Barron!

Congratulations to Laird Barron. The American Library Association put his collection The Imago Sequence on their annual Best Adult Genre Fiction list. I knew this was an important collection, and most reviewers seem to have concurred, but its nice to see the third pillar of American fiction (librarians) recognizing the merits of Barron’s work.

We just posted the final cover art/design for Lucius Shepard’s Softspoken. See the cover here, and the full jacket spread here. This book should be shipping early next month, along with Balefires by David Drake, and the trade paperback edition of The State of the Art by Iain M. Banks.
